The Bugle Bulletin is The Bugle’s weekly news and sport broadcast, bringing you the best of the week’s local stories - complete with footage that brings them to life.
We usually go to air every Monday, but with such a HUGE week in news, we’re coming to you this Tuesday instead.
First up: the election. Over the weekend, Katelyn McInerney made history by becoming the Kiama electorate’s first female MP, winning Saturday’s by-election in a Labor landslide.
Also making headlines: the Folk by the Sea Festival. With over 30 acts from across Australia, it was hailed as one of the strongest lineups in its 12-year history.
And if that wasn’t enough, the Romans Hot Rod Run rolled into town - featuring more than 230 rare and restored vehicles on display.
In sport, it was a weekend to remember. Kiama Rugby’s first grade team broke a 21-year drought to claim the 2025 IDRU premiership.
In rugby league, the Kiama Knights’ first grade and reserve grade teams are both through to the Group 7 grand finals after strong wins over the weekend.
And on a bigger stage, Tyran Wishart scored the game-winner in the Melbourne Storm’s semi-final victory over the Canterbury Bulldogs.
At The Bugle, we’re committed to pairing compelling visuals with meaningful local storytelling - bringing you a news experience that’s informative, entertaining, and engaging.
