Lifeline’s major fundraising event for their services in the Illawarra and South Coast starts today, bigger than ever. Perfect timing for a wet weekend.

Lifelines Big Book Fair will see over 90,000 second hand books for sale over three days. A wide range of fiction, non-fiction, biographies, children’s books and potentially some special finds, will be on offer ranging from $2 to $7.

 The event aims to spread the love of reading, save books from landfill and raise vital funds.

With a vision of an Australia free of suicide, the funds will allow Lifeline South Coast to recruit, train and support more Crisis Supporters in providing vital suicide prevention services.
