Gym takes extra proactive precautions

People who were at One Fitness at the Sebel at the same time as a member, who has since been contacted by NSW Health as part of its COVID contact tracing, have been notified by the gym. UPDATE 20/7/21: The test has provided a negative result.

"While there was no obligation for us to do this, we have done it as a precautionary measure," says Craig Hardy, the General Manager of the Sebel Harbourside Kiama.

"The member got in touch with us when he was identified as a possible contact.

"He wore a mask the whole time he was there, and is currently isolating while awaiting test results."

As a further precaution, the gym underwent a deep clean on the news.

The gym is continuing to operate under its COVID safe plan.

Editor's note: Compulsory check-in at each location you visit has been introduced to make it much easier for NSW Health to identify possible contacts of positive case. Please take this responsibility seriously. It is a hassle worth making time for.
