Werri Beach/Gerringong Garden Club

We are a friendly club of people with a shared interest in gardens and gardening.

Our motto is ‘Friendship through Gardening’. Friends and visitors are welcome.

Meetings are held on 2nd Wednesday of each month, 9.30am for a 10:00am start, at the Uniting Church Hall, 28 Fern St, Gerringong.

Morning tea is served from 9.30am, with the meeting starting at 10am sharp. Attendance fee of $5 covers hall hire and lucky door prizes.

Monthly meetings (second Wednesday each month) include:

* Speaker on a wide range of garden-related topics

* Garden Gems: Members are encouraged to bring along flowers/foliage and edible items from their garden. Each month we have a winner for the month, and points towards the end of year prizes.

* Morning tea is served from 9.30am, enabling you to chat with others in a relaxed setting

* Our plant trading table offers plants, cuttings, produce and other garden related items for sale

* Each meeting includes several lucky door prizes.

We also have a monthly coffee morning and/or outing where members and friends can enjoy a relaxed social gathering in either a garden setting or a local café.

We also usually organise a bus excursion/outing each year.

Members also receive an informative and colourful monthly newsletter covering a range of gardening topics and highlighting garden-related events.

At the end of the year, we organise a well-attended fun Christmas Event.
